INSTALL TIPS FOR DUAL FANS

I installed mine a couple months ago and they work great. I am using the F-body radiator and if you have the same radiator you have to trim off more than just the tabs. I didnt use the factory lower bracket. I have the shroud resting in the lower radiator support and I made some aluminum brackets for the top. The brackets go from the radiator hold down bolt holes to the fans shroud. It works perfect and looks like it is factory done. On a upper 80 degree day with the A/C on in stop and go traffic the temps stayed in the 170's. The only thing I would like to be changed is for the fans not to kick on at the same time. I would like to have a slight delay so I don't have as much voltage drop but its not that big of deal really.

I have heard of but never tried it but vinegar is supposedly good to run in a radiator to help clean it out. Like I said, I haven't ever tried it or even seen it work so take it at that.
