I installed the new chip in my Scanmaster 2.1 that came with my Powerlogger, and now when certain parameters come up on the scanmaster display, the numbers don't show up. For example, when in the RPM screen, the 2nd digit of the RPM's doesn't display. Any idea on how to fix this?

Double and tripple check every single pin on the chip, and make sure one didn't get "turned" under or outward.

This was my thought also.

Is it always the same digit, or does it vary?

I've checked the chip, it appears to be in correctly with the pins in their correct areas. Its always the same spot that is messed up, regardless of what data is being displayed. But if you are viewing the RPM readout, it is the "hundred" digit of the RPM's

except for bent pins on the chip, the only other solution is to send it in to be fixed.
