Hopefully you didnt burn the band/drum or direct clutches. Its possible forward could have slipped with a low oil level

Luckily, I only went around the block a couple times and I was very easy on it since it was a test run for the motor. It was about a quart+ low. I had 7 quarts in it to start with (1 quart in the converter before install and 6 more afterwards) Fluid smells fine. I actually dropped the pan and had very little sediment in it. I went ahead and put fresh fluid in too. It has to come back out this winter for a stronger rebuild. I'll find out this weekend how it handles a few pounds of boost.
