Installing a 1985 HB system

Bought a complete 1985 Hydroboost System, am installing it today on my 87 GN. It appears the high pressure hose from the HB to the power steering pump is not gonna fit at the pump correctly. Does the 85 use a different pump vs the 87?

I had to "massage" the line from the pump to the hb unit.

Clamped it down.

As it came.

After I massaged it.
