My question is, Can I install the new Down Pipe. I am going from a 3 inch to a Custom 5 inch RJC with A/C pipe... I also do have a hole in the pipe where something is bolted in there w/a wire coming out, Is this a job that I do or does it get sent out... Doesn't look that hard.. HaHa thanks AL

not sure of the question
can you do a down pipe swap froma 3 to a 5 is something i would imagine only you can answer

as for the wire in the hole thing , looking at your sig you have a 6.1 chip so assume you mean a wideband sensor
you will need a sensor bung installed in the new pipe ,,,again without knowing your skills or tools you may need someone to weld the bung in for you
without the wideband you will be able to drive the car some where to have the bung installed (welded in) .. but if you want to boost without the wideband sensor in place ( assuming you already have the wot base set close so correction is already minimal )you will need to go into the chip and turn off the wideband correcting (set A/F 1-2 3-4 to under 9.9)

not sure why you need a 5" DP ...3" should be more than most will ever need

Paul, Thanks for reply, I thought it was called a bung, but didn't want to say it if I wasn't sure, its a tough crowd sometimes. Sorry for a poor written question, The DP looks pretty simple couple bolts and looks to just slide out... But I seen the bung and wasn't sure if you could drive the car to the welder. I would in no means be looking for any WOTs, just Sunday cruise to the welder... And yes that is a wideband, do I have to adjust the correction (Air Flow under 9.9)

As too why the 5 inch pipe, Well 2yrs ago I was at SEMA and I seen one on a Turbo Buick, I thought it was so cool, I like that it is not common and don't care about performance if there is any, I don't know. Just a cool guy part...

5 inches is obviously bigger than 3 inches, and I just said bung hole out loud. Thanks

he needs DP for his bung hole!
