I bought some hood emblems from kirbans,+ will be installing them today or tomorrow, seems pretty straight forward, center them + get them straight, i'm just looking for any tips before i do it, any do's or dont's..
I don't know how strong the stick is,+ if it is a one touch + it's stuck hard ,or if it can be repositioned if it's not straight.
Figured i would ask first + be safe. Any tips welcomed. Thanks :)

Go over the hood with a wax and grease remover first. And once they're stuck they're stuck

I agree with what aminga says....plus an extra helpful tip from me.....
Don't put them on upside down.....standing on your head to read it gets pretty tiring....

The finished product.
Just a couple things i noticed.
The aftermarket ones are very flexible,so you have to make sure they go on flat + even or they will look like a wave with high + low spots,+ they are extremely sticky,so i figured out on the second one ,the best way to do it is,"barely" put it in place,+ leave it barely grabbing + then you can manuever it up or down until it is straight.
Any way these came from kirbans,+ were only $20.00 i got 3 sets because there was no extra shipping on the second 2 sets + i needed one for the trunk also, + now i'll have some spares too.
I don't like the plain look ,these really dress up the hood + trunk especially on the new paint.now i need all the other emblems + some chrome bumpers + i'll be a happy camper.

The original trunk emblem didn't have the black paint around the letters like these hood emblems do,but it's close enough I don't think anybody will ever notice the difference.
