I need to artificilly make the pin longer to reduce the servo movement on the band. What kind of washer and where do they get installed? I thought I read where they go btw the inner and outer piston but can't figure how this makes the pin longer to reduce the clearance. Thanks

Ok, if no one knows then my other option is to buy a longer pin but which one is it. I have a 3 groove pin so do I buy a no groove or a 2 groove pin? That is what I am wondering?

remove the pin assembly from the servo , slide off the the piston plate and slide a shim (washer) up against the eclip , put the plate back on and install another shim (washer) onto the shaft

the washer shims looks like a banjo washer but are little larger
they are about .030" ea and fit the pin shaft close and large enough that it wont fit into the e-clip recess .

Ok, very good. Are these washers hardware type stuff or transmission specialty shop pieces. Thanks pacecarta.
