Aluminum/silver colored.

most if not all were coated in a silver/grey paint... Im trying to figure out how to get mine polished!!!! Maybe JET-HOT coated!!! hehehehehe

Had this happen to mine

mine has some silver powder coating peeling off it.

It is probably flaking off the bottom also--not good for bearings.
Took me a while to figure out why my bearings would have contaminates imbedded in them knowing it went together CLEAN. Finally blasted ALL the coating off and just sprayed painted the top part. Problem solved !!!

here are a couple intake pix... the closeup is both the flaking and the original color... it is almost like a powder coat silver, and the aluminum underneath is a little darker...

im in touch with ronnie!!! Im hoping I can get a nice polish finish to the intake, make it look like chrome, but not as mirror like... Just nice and shiney!!!
