I taugh my valve cover gaskets were leaking, I changed them and I still have the same leak.
The leak is located in the back of the engine so its kinda hard to confirm where the leak is.

The car run fine, no problem, no hesitation, power is all there...

Any tip on doing the intake gasket? Anything to be aware? Just want to avoid 25 trips to the parts store!

Also, could headgasket leak oil from the outside? I think I saw that before....

Head gaskets are possible but it's more than likely the intake. Put some dye in the oil and clean the area where it leaks. then use a black light to make sure. Use ultra seal black instead of the factory end seal when you do it and slobber it on. If you dimple the intake and block it will hold better.

...crap, I took all the care in the world and its still leak back there.

I cleaned to make sure all the surface were dirt/oil free.....:mad::mad:

I guess I will have to recheck everything!

Its not a 10 minutes job either :frown:

You can get some dye for the oil at any parts store. Put some in the engine and see if you can get a black light so you can see where it's coming from.
