Intake problem

I'm putting my intake back on and having trouble getting it to sit far enough down. I have a KB intake and M&A heads and using the Fel MS96033 gasket.
The mounting holes on the intake seem like they are too high (or the heads too high).

I got everything RTVd and situated and saw that I may damage the alum threads if I try to force it (since the holes are too high).

What should I do? Can I drill the holes bigger?

Got the same issue. You may need to mill the intake to lower it.

Is the intake seated on the gaskets, or on the valley gaskets, if you have any? You will have to have the intake milled a decent amount if its not a problem with sitting on the wrong gaskets..
