Will a 75-79 buick 231 carb intake fit a 82-87 buick block

79 and up use a different port design and aren't interchangeable

You're dealing with 3 different designs here. The 75-77.5 blocks and heads are different from the 78 up blocks and heads. The 78 heads are low port and the holley is the only intake that will work from 78 on down. The 79 up heads are high port and the there are quite a few intakes that will work. What exactly are you trying to do?
