Went to a car show this past weekend and my IC friends brought this for the big space between the front of the engine and radiator.

thats pretty funny. hmm.... now its your turn. how about next time you bring a bunch of those big bumper stickers that look like a band aid, and you can go around and put it on top of their intercoolers. :p

Very Funny!

I love it, I need to do that at the next show. I have actually put on my signature for my different clubs the following,
Yes that is the factory location of the turbo and no I didn't move the motor back, gm really built them like that.

Looks like you have some really great friends. LOL

I love the bandaid thing too, great idea, I know where a lot of the bandaid stickers are in fact. (advance auto here I come) What was cool was this weekend after running my new personal best one of our friends overheard the ricer crowd say that my car was hauling cause it had a 76 trim turbo with a huge front mount cooler. Obviously they didn't look in my engine compartment too close. I'd go for the 76 trim turbo water cooled though, might have to cut the hood....

Actually they are a great group I hang out with. We razz each other on a regular basis. Obiviously they pick on my Hotair car, even though it's not the slowest in the group, it's still a Hotair and something different from theirs.

I like the bandaid idea too, but for must people to get it I'd have to probably write something like "Intercooler, the bandaid Hotairs cars have overcome!" or something of that nature.

I admit I did not under stand the bandaid thing till I read that, that is very funny.

Or put up a sign on yours that says no intercooler required...Fast enough without it.

Thought You might, I might have to use that this weekend while parked next to hubbies intercooled car at a benefit car show come to think of it. I grow tired of hearing how his is so much faster because they see the intercooler, fact is right now I don't think he'd could touch me with his set up.
