I have a chance to purchase a "rebuilt" motor from a '84 Ttype,I would like to know if I could use this motor in my '87 Gn& transfer everything on to the '84 motor,What exactly what would need to be done?

Yes, it definately can be done. I have never done it, so I don't wan't to give advice, but I'm sure someone will chip in, or a search might come up with some real experience.

Other than the oil pan everything will bolt up like stock, I just used an 87 block for an 84 setup

but you need to drill and tap the block for the turbo drain. i put an 4.1l in and had it done.

Good point, the oil drain for a hotair is in the intake itself.
