intercooler braket location?

im building a '90 camaro with a gn motor swap. i think i know where the brackets go but just want to be sure. does the top of the right side bracket bolt to the belt tensioner?

I assume you mean the left (drivers side) bracket. It attaches to the bolt that goes into the tensioner through the bottom of the alternator. The bolt has a stud on top of it.
