Intercooler Cleaning!!!!

What did it do for you???? I'm pulling mine out tomorrow and I was curious about results others have gotten. PS Mine has probably never been done so we will see...

It gave me the feeling that I had done something good for the car

I never did a before and after run but following the gnttype.org cleaning instructions I did get a lot of black oily gas out when I washed it out.

Has to be worth something I would think....as far as thermal exchange???

No performance change but it cant hurt. I used mineral spirits.

Well it wasn't bad after all...even I can do it!!! But someone was in there before as 1 of the shroud screws was missing !!! If no performance is gained so be it, its done one way or the other. Thanks for the info guys.

Be glad you even have an intercooler shroud...
