heres my pickle
i cant decide to either got
duttweiler
or 23 row stock location
or get a duttweiler for now until i save cash and up grade turbo and go with a large front mount and alky what you guys 2 cents on this

Depends on your goals for the car. Is it a daily driver or a race car? Do you have any supporting mods (a scanmaster/WBo2/ powerlogger/boost gauge/knock gauge)? If you drive it daily alky and a SLIC would be good. If you are just building it to race then I would get the front mount. I would go with the alky kit first out of everything unless you don't have a scanmaster. Make sure you go with Alkycontrol.

i do have all necesary monitering tools other then fuel pressure gauge and adjustable fpr but those will be comming at same time as other parts my goals are really to just have to car have to power it looks and sounds like it has i think to keep budget safe im gonna go with the duttwieler for now sieng how cheap it is comparing to a strech or a 23 row or a front mount and i can always sell the duttwieler when i decide to go to front mount

Just figure out what you want and just go for it. You'll save money by not doing it twice.

Go with the alky kit first. You won't get much of a difference with a Dutt neck on an intercooler if you are running the same amount of boost. Alkycontrol kit, turbotweak alky chip, bump the boost up to 22 or 23 psi and enjoy your new car.

It sounds like you eventually want a FMIC. Maybe you should just do that now. You don't have to upgrade your turbo.

Dutt Neck sounds like a good plan also.

due to my current budget dutt neck for the price of the hole slic with neck instaled is most deff they way im gonna go with other mods should get me up in the hp range i wanna be in for now when i upgrade the turbo im gonna be going to a total other level with the car but that only when i get promoted to coporal 2 kids on a private 2 wage dont make the big bucks yet

If it was me I'd just get an alky kit and leave the rest alone since you plan on upgrading things. Start with the pump

Do you know someone to do the Dutt Neck fabrication on your original IC, or did you find an IC that is already done?

About what does a Dutt Neck IC go for?

~JM~

another reason im tempted im going the te44 now is before i go with a much larger turbo i wanna rebuild my motor and do either a long or short road stroker kit

X2 !! I wouldn't bother with the Dutt neck either. I also wouldn't do a front mount unless your goin to do a lot of racing (got the flame suit on ) So this is goin to be a nice street DRIVER ??? If so give the glass bumpers a lot of thought.. NO protection in a collision.

Oh didn't see a "stroker kit" in your future. In that case go with a front mount, BIGGER turbo, Fast system an all the rest of the "GO" parts !!

this is in the futur when im a master coporal or even sargent
for now the dutt neck is temping because of how cheap but futur its deff gonna be a tso big ass front mount but thats long way from now
fiber glass bumper i just think look nice i like the smooth look and as a bonus there wait lighter and wont rust

If you on a budget just keep saving for a front mount its worth the wait. Invest wisely and patiently.:D
