Also France, Germany and Russia were taking advantage because Saddam was giving all the benefits although the UN had put sanctions on Iraq. In time you would be fighting terrorism on your front door, WAKE UP DREAMERS. It was time to pull the plug, now maybe some of the other rouge countries will fall in line rather than saber rattling.

I hope gas will be cheaper. We really should take Iraq's oil.

All I know is that the U.S. is a little safer with that country under our thumb. Maybe a better shot at some kind of peace in that region. We can't expect our economy to improve while there are people running around blowing things up. While the loss of 3000 folks in NY is a terrible thing, it's infinitely small compared to the overall population of the US, yet was very destructive to our economy. Some of you, I guess, were perfectly happy having an Iraq that could potentially cause a couple more buildings to come down. I say squash anybody who could be a potential threat to the US. We are not the aggressors in this. If we choose to be the victims, we WILL be the victims.

What happened to the WMD's that Iraq said they had? They admitted to having them and even the all mighty do no wrong Bill Clinton acknowledged it. If they are not in Iraq, then where are they? I know Saddam did not destroy them. My guess is they are yet to be discovered or he gave them to terrorists.

If he had them, I'm sure he would have used them on us when we attacked. Probably sold them to some rogue nation a couple of years ago.
