Here's a few pics of the progress. The CF patterns look kinda funny when the flash hits it but with the naked eye its very subtle. I spent most of the day rewiring the stereo, gauges, laying carpet, installed seats, and center console.
I pick up the door panels, visors, and back seat on Thursday. I'm painting the steering column next weekend and I should get my new steering wheel sometime this week.

Why not also DYE the pull straps and cover the package tray with the alcantara and be done with those pieces?

LoL I ran out of Alcantara. As a matter of fact I need a packtray cover and a front speaker cover. I am debating on how to do them. I was thinking just going flat black on the two. I dyed the door pull straps today .

Thanks guys!!! Can't wait till this weekend so I can finish up. I haven't driven the car for a few weeks and I am having withdrawal symptoms.

Here are a couple of update pics. There are a few little odds and ends that need to be installed ie door straps, install new steering wheel, and find a front speaker panel. Overall it looks 10x better than the old faded blue.

Getting there......:biggrin: Those last couple 3 pics look great. The jury was out for me until it started coming together and WoW. Looks good.

Thats nice, id love to have an interior like that in my car. I like the shifter and the steering wheel. Did the later t-tyes/GN's come with that horn cap or is that custom??

Thanks!!! I think the steering wheel and gauge cluster changed in 84. The horn cap came with the car when I bought it. I think its incorrect but I could be wrong.

hello people; You did a super clean job on your interior but IMO that big tech. has to go. IMO it takes away from your work. I guess if your a racer it has to be if not I'd get it gone.

Looks really good! Not sure if you noticed or not (probably did), but the carbon pattern on the console is the opposite of everything else in the car. LoL sorry. Looks 100X better than that ugly blue.

Thanks. When I layed the vinyl wrap on the console I did notice that the pattern ran a diff direction. I really had no choice but to lay it that way because I started running low on that material. Maybe in the future I will correct it but it took me 3 tries to get that stuff to lay flat on the console. @ $45 a yard I can deal with it lol.
