The cloth on my door panels gets saggy depending upon humidity. Does this happen on your cars? Is there any way to fix it?

My seats are in pretty good shape, but the rear headrests are totally sun dried out junk. I'd like to try to get the seats repaired. Are there patterns available? Mine are probably too shrunk to use for patterns.

For getting your head rests repaired check out some of the mobile interior specialist in your area. Dr. Vinyl is one and I have seen there work. It looks really good and they can repair just about anything. Most interior repair guys have a website with before and after pictures of their work. If they don't ask for some. This should get you started in that dept. As far as the cloth on your door panels you may want to ask them to but cloth is a lot harder to manipulate and repair than vinyl or leather.

I was thinking the same thing about my head liner. When I dropped it off at storage a few weeks ago the head liner was touching my head. :(

It looks like the cloth is ultrasonically welded into the door panel, so it will be difficult to repair. I guess I'll just try to find some GTA panels to mess with. I think I want to cover the insert and the pocket with leather.

I think the headrests are beyond repair. It's more than just the finnish. The leather is cracking and has shrunk significantly.

I had good results accidently while cleaning some of these loose panels using the brush cap style carpet cleaner in a can. After cleaning and vacuum of the panels the material tightened up when the wet material dried out. Just be careful not to pull what adhesion you have left apart with the vacuum. Good luck.
