Jul 3, 2011 #2 T turbofabricator Well-Known Member Joined Mar 7, 2004 Messages 4,261 Internal wastegates, properly sized, are capable of 9 second runs or even quicker. So unless you are making more than 800 h.p. a flapper valve gate is ok by me. ( properly sized and ported)
