OK, goes like this.

I get an email from TB.com that someone responded to a post I'm subscribed to. I click on the link in the email and 2 copies of IE come up. One that takes me to the thread in TB.com and another that is blank, which then allow a crap load of pop ups to appear at random. This just started a few weeks ago and is annoying.

I tried searching the registry but no luck.

Any ideas.

Joe

PROBLEM SOLVED

Thanks

Joe

Download a free copy of Spybot from the net. It isn't your PC but a spyware program that got installed on your hard drive. Once you remove the program you won't have any more trouble.

Where/when did you install that spyware? It's usually part of packages of other "free" software. What did you install when the problems started?

I belive it started when bearshare was installed.
