I joined this site today 3-11-2010. I have had an 87 T-Type for a couple of years now. I have used the time to date to get the car painted, new interior, and some basic mechanical work done to get the car roadworthy, new shocks, brakes, tires. The car is stock except for a Caspers Electronics ultrachip version 3.10 that came with the car when I bought it, and what I have added: K&N cold air intake, Pypes exhaust, and a Richmond Gear locker differential.

Now that it is back on the road, I do notice the boost seems unresponsive to the various chip settings. I have not gotten any real help from Caspers. The 15 psig boost gage pegs pretty quickly. Once I resolve this, I will look for a few perforamnce upgrades, keeping the car as weekend driver.

There may be a guide to troubleshooting boost problems. Any advice would be appreciated.

First, welcome aboard. There's lots of info on the board so I'd suggest to do some searching. Post questions and expect some of it to be BS. Just our nature. Since this is your first post please go to your user controls and some ifo like location. This will help you find other members near you and most of them will help you if you ask. Second is to add a signiture so we have an idea of what's been done to the car so far. third is to get an updated chip. Turbo Tweek is the best option out there. Good luck and welcome to the dark side.
