IPhone trouble

I tried to update my software to 3.0 and after the back up it wouldn't restore. It gave me an error code 13. I can't fimd everything specific on that code does anyone know how to fix this problem? If not does anyone know how to get the backup off this computer so I can put it on my other one and backup from there?

Have you completely turned the phone off and then let it boot before upgrading?

this is what happens when you get a phone that is too complicated. my 4 year old Samsung flip phone doesn't do things like that..

OK I've been researchin this and I did all the tips and tricks like uninstalling itunes, trying a diffrent usb port, and even putting it into DFU mode wich looks like shutting it down/turning it off. When putting the phone in DFU mode it gives me a whole new error of 2005. The only thing I can't do is try to restore on a diffrent pc because my desktop runs the latest version of Ubuntu which itunes can't run on as far as I know.

That would be your best bet. Run the latest itunes from a windows box and try a full restore. You may some stuff though. Exactly which phone is it?
