Iridiums?? any good?? waste of cash??? they are like $10 a plug!!
I have seen on supercharged Mustangs where some people are running Denso Iridium Sparkplugs and having great success. They state that the denso plugs will help "spark blow-out" caused from high cylinder pressures on high boost applications. Higher cylinder pressures make it harder for the ignition system to fire the plugs, but the Denso plugs are supposed to be able to fire better under these high pressures than regular copper plugs.
People are claiming that there cars pull to a much higher rpm with Iridiums.
I know running platinums in a TB is a no no, but has anyone had any experience with Iridium plugs that would care to comment on the issue?
