I'll be at Irwindale for Thursday night thunder. Should be a good time to test our machines before they shut down. Hope to see some folks there.

I might see you there John, I have not run my truck there (lil truck) one more to add to the list!
Hope to see a few more TRs !

It will be good after the sun goes down! See you there, my truck is a black 89 Chevy 1/2 ton short bed SS.

I have to wait till next week to run, tires didn't come in yet

Good times. I think we had three or four GNs last night. Everyone seemed to be able to get in lots of runs. At one point, right at about five O clock, I was able to get in four runs in fifteen minutes.

What kinda times did everyone run ?

I guess I didn't realize it, but I own two ten second cars. One runs tens in the quarter. The one I had last night runs tens in the eighth. :D

Last night I took a surf buddy of mine to the track (Big wave Dave) to run for the first time. We stole my wife's 08 Mercedes E-350 Sport. we had a flog-fest and netted a hand full of low ten second time slips. After getting back home, my daughter (Hailey) was relieved to find that she still holds the record with Mom's car at a 9.968 ET at 72.09 mph. Her time slip is still hanging on the fridge ;)

I'll let others post their times if they want. The air was not good for HP and the track prep went away as the night went on. Congrats to John Saleeby and Jerry for being able get their cars to hook when many others could not.

Who knows. Maybe next week we'll try to beat Hailey's record and get Dave into the 9 second club. ;)

My 2 cents: Last night, the best racer was the one who was having the most fun. :)

Good times...
