I just recently had PTE burn me two chips for my new 50 lb injectors and my TE-44 turbo. The street chip has 20 degrees of timing for 93 octane while the race chip is a 108 octane chip and the timing is unknown. I was just curious as to if the street chip will be too much timing or is it just perfect? I wanted the most power I could get with a street chip and I will most likely be running 100 octane most of the time with it so I would think the 20 degrees is fine. What boost levels do you guys run with your TE-44 turbo on the street like this? (no alky)
Now as for the race chip...will I be able to still throw in 110 leaded like I did for the stocker or will I have to go higher with this new race chip say 112-116???
