:confused could i make more hp per$$$ spending that money on nos ??? or ?????????????????????????

alcohol injection would be cheaper with better results.
then u could still upgrade turbo and downpipe, port intake, crank up the boost. there is lots of fast hot air cars now that everyone has figured out what makes them go

My PC crashed, but . . . . from what I recall, alky won.
If you add alky+NOS+IC, you have the best option for HP, "IF" you have the octane and the set-up to take care of the increased flow (Headers, DP, etc)
If you "really" want the best bang for the $$, convert to E-85, and mist the alky in the charge.

Don't get too far ahead too quick. Whatever you decide, you still need to tune it, and tha in itself can be an art-form with a lot of variables.

Edit:
IMO, the single piece of the puzzle that is missing with the IC is octane. You may be able to run 16-18psi with an IC, and yield a 150-175F temp drop, but you can run 20-25 psi with alky, and see a 150-200F temp drop. Alky (Chemical Intercooling) is no joke!

i was thinking of a 75 hp shot of nos with e85 and a bigger turbo i was reading the e85 forums and didnt read anything on if stock gas tank is ok not sure on how to take plug readings w e85 so im iffy about that route i dont think $3,000.00 in electronics is needed though i know you can put a 75 shot of nos on anything w/out hurting eng. but thats not gonna cut it in its self the e85 sounds like it could cause some damage to injectorsits like running carb cleaner

oh iwas thinking about flipping turbo over and plumbing in a front mount i have a tubing bender and welder so i just need some room ill get rid of stock fan and hardwire electric fans get some bigger injectors and spray it with nitrous anybody got a stroker crank for sale?

Crashed out

I am adding an IC to my HOT Air , with the help of a memember on here, We are doing it by modifying an 87 intake , Once you do that you can run the 86/87 turbos and have more options. We are going to be making a step by step directions with pics for memembers of the forum once we have completed it.

I plan on adding alky once I have the IC as well

Sounds like you have plenty of experience building and working on BIG HP stuff.
You are correct, it is NOT rocket science.
Matter of fact, running 10's with an IC'd set-up is considered by many to be a "no brainer", and more than likely, you don't need $3K in electronics either to do this.
Just look around the board and ask/see how many 10 second capable set-ups are running 11-12's.

I have seen a few of these cars that easily got away with a 150-175 shot!
Try the 75HP shot . . . . . Easy enough to try . . . . . you probably have the parts laying around.
