The over whelming advice is to pass on this 9 grand T-Type that by all indications remains unfinished and priced too high.
If you have that kind of money to invest take your time and find something as suggested in the 1986-1987 vintage Turbo Regal won't matter if its a T-Type or Turbo-T or Grand National but the end reward will be a better value.

I talk from experience as I only bought 1986-1987 models quite a few....not knocking the erlier ones but one in the condition shown is not one to dump your hard earned funds in.

I just re-read that.

I'm not even going to go back and look at your VIN tag to see what model year.
You're starting to hurt my head.
Pick a year and stick with your story.

They didn't make WH1s in 1987 so that blows that theory.
But in any event - if you determine it really is a Buick, and really is a Regal - and what year and model it is - get back to me and we can help.

Next you're going to tell us is is titled as a 1953 Studebaker but the grill says Buick.

i was saying the 1987 was written on the purchase order that my mechanic bought from the previous owner. so i have just been trying to find out exactly what this car is

he originally said it was a grand national. its not. its a t type. you guys say it could be a wh1, ill find out tomorrow. and even if it is a wh1, ill probably be keeping my nissan and wont get that car if i dont get it for the right price.

i know what is wrong with the truck, the problem is the repair shops didnt do the repairs right the first 4 times after taking it back multiple times, new truck insurance pays and gets a repair shop. problem was it was a $15,000 repair job. cause it was new. other repair jobs were rear enders and window glass shop scratched all paint off around the front window on three sides. and i am mechanically good with vehicles as i drove a 74 vw beetle for 3 and half years a daily and worked on my 1981 750 a whole bunch.

Note to self:
Do not let Mike Lewis near my Buicks
He is rough on vehicles! :D

As notacarlo said - we aren't sure about anything.

It sure doesn't have the GN interior - that much we can see.

The T type thing - my titles say "T Type"
But some are Grand Nationals (WE2) - some aren't (WE4 & WH1)
It's all in the RPO SPID label.

the ice had control, the truck was too lightweight for the rocks in the ditch. and im from the province that gives you the oil and gas for your cars

We appreciate it.
Greatly.
Don't go messin with us - or we will have to go start a war with you over your oil.
We're a little "war-light" at the moment, and looking for a new place to test out our newest gizmos.
:D

Maroon indeed. Was a Limited.

Ahh...couldn't tell in the pics.
And then the bumpers got me.
Is that what they call it - "Maroon"?
I would have thought something like Burgandy / Beordeaux / Chablis / Wine or something fancy

Dennis,

We would like you to make a trip to Saskatoon (in say - Mid January) and view this car personally, and give it your Kirban's Seal of Disapproval.
Submit any expense reports directly to Mike Lewis and his insurance company.
But by the sounds of things, it may take them a couple of tries to get you paid :D

Not likely.
These cars really haven't gone up alot in the last few years.
A mind bending depression / recession; followed by 8 grueling years of a moron in the WH will do that to collectible car prices.
Oh yeah - I forgot - you're in Greenland and you guys didn't feel it as bad as we drunk-on-credit Americans did.
I've seen your housing bubbleliscous like prices.

It's a nice example of a WH1 - but that's still probably the right "asking price"
Remember son - asking price / final sales price.
Not the same.
However, this car is somewhat rare, having been equipped with the special, Kirbans's Rear Seat Braces. (There ya go Dennis...:D )

You're really going to trade for this aren't you?

You do know the price you will want to pay this guy is less than he originally / allegedly bought it for.
I want to see that look on his face when you drop that bomb on him.
Please take a good picture - and post will you? :D

Funny lines in that ad are:

This car has an intermittent electrical problem where it loses spark, I beleive that it's a loose, broken or chaffed wire....
I believe in unicorns, but we all know they are just ponies with silly party hats.

I think it's in the dash area but to be honest I'm tired of messing with it and am sick of technology and want it gone...
Uh huh - just like your mechanic friend - wants it GONE!
Here fishy fishy fishy...

Plus - dood sounds like the Unibomber and he's "sick of technology".
So - why doesn't he post his For Sale ad on a piece of cardboard in his car window instead of using a computer and an internet forum? Huh?

"the car hates me, when it runs it runs GREAT,"
When it runs. Or if it runs. Whichever - but it will be GREAT! :D

"will run with an intercooled car easy."
(Hand over mouth) (Fake cough) (Bullshit) :D

Do yourself a favor and stop looking at that car. DO NOT BUY THAT CAR.

Save your money and buy a nice 86 or 87 turbo regal that you can enjoy and have fun with.
