Is it ok to mount trans cooler upside down?

Talked to a couple of friends who are into imports, and they mentioned that the way I mocked up my trans cooler with the fittings pointing downwards will allow air to be trapped at the top of the cooler. In my head I thought the trans fluid would just displace the air that would be trapped in there. Anybody know?

They better call jeep and tell them to put a recall on all their libertys:biggrin: I have mounted them pointing up and down I have even mounted sideways with a fan. It will work fine.
