hey guys.. just wondering how safe it is to leave my tank open all day.. considering a few factors it would seem kind of stupid to ever really turn it off except when you exit the car.

if your car is tuned for 25psi when you turn it off you better remember to spin that wastegate rod around about 10 turns or bye bye headgasket..

if it doesnt activate until 10psi its not like its going to get worn out driving around all day to hit 10psi requires 75% or more throttle, well, atleast in my car.

and isnt the purpose to have a higher state of tune all the time.. and not just at the track? so you dont ever have to make an excuse 'oh well if i had some race gas and 25psi of boost your ass would have been mine'

? just wondering.. dont wanna blow myself up or anything :D

You could.. Kenny Brown left his bottle open for about 6 months straight through the Texas summer.

From a political correctness standpoint, however, I have to say to turn it off when you park the car.

Your mileage may vary :)

i expected you would give the 'legal' based answer..

i figured if there were no leaks it shouldnt be a problem.

thanks jay
