I had my seats redone at a local shop. When I got them home I realized that the material has a greenish/blue tint to it. I went back and he said that was the original number, but the reproduction can vary, but it probably all comes from the same place. I did everything so it matchs. It just doesn't look real grey next to all the gray vinyl.
Is this common?

I just had mine done, at a local shop and the color is dead on.

Do you know where they got the material or what the number was?
I really don't know if I'm going to be able to do anything other than just live with it and get a sample next time.

My Jax seat covers are definatly darker than the rest of the grey inside, but i was told by them that the rest of the interior has faded over time. I'm sure thats partially true, but after the seats are in there i really don't notice it

gray interior color

There is actually 2 different colors.Sounds like you had the one with the slight green tint installed.Nice thing is it will fade to gray.
The original is a true grey good luck finding the original.I've been hunting hi & low I did manage to find 7 yards but it wasn't cheap.

Yes, definitely a green tint. Thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure the guy who ordered the material at least ordered the right stuff. This Texas sun should get it looking more gray pretty fast.
