pretty straight forward question. i'm guessing it depends on the state.
 
i heard that in new york now there is a law that says if you have the bottle in the car they can take the car from you and keep it .
 
I remember in Ga there was a law that the bottle had to be closed. If they stopped you and the valve was open..big problem.
 
Hey Roderick , read something similar . If thats the case that a Fu(*ing stupid law . But leave it to NYC they have plenty of stupid stuff . Meanwhile there is no track in the state close to LongIsland and NYC maybe a track would give people a place to run their cars , i guess for now the street it is .
 
In NJ it's legal, but you have to have a permit as well as the placard like the big trucks have indicating you have bottled gas :rolleyes: When I was using it I had the permit from the state, but didn't put the big diamond stickers on my car.

Either it is emissions legal in Colorado, or the emission "techs" don't care.
