DKREDT just take a step back and read the whole thread. There is one guy who feels anything close to making the KKK and the NAACP be equal. The rest is a discussion.
There are good people on this board and I am confident a continued discussion will show it.
I grew up in the middle of Wisconsin dairy country where we all looked pretty much alike, except for a few Indians tossed in the mix. I never even had a conversation with a Black person until I joined the Army. From that point on I learned that racists wear skins of every color.
Racism, hatred and distrust don't come from the color of your skin. They come from the color of your character.

I keep seeing all these award shows like the Ebony awards, the MOBO awards ( music of black origin), The NAACP Image Awards, BET Awards, and so on. The Miss Black USA Pageant, Miss Black Teen USA and so one. And a network called BET.
I am not a racist but feel something is wrong when it is OK to have these things and it would be IMPOSSIBLE to have The Whitey Awards , MOWO ( music of white origin) awards, The NAAWP Image ( The national association for the advancement of white people) Awards. The WET ( White Entertainment Television) Awards, The Miss White USA Awards ( hey are not whites, blacks, Hispanics and Asians in the Miss USA pageant), The Miss White Teen USA. I am all for each group to be proud of who they are but something is not right with this kind of thing. The Hispanics do it too why can't the whites? Because it would be racist. Now don't you think all these awards and shows are racist too?

Which proves once and for all that the ones who support the violence is not the Klan anymore, but those who oppose the Klan. The most intolerant people are those that preach tolerance.

About 80% of that objective is good, although I'd take it a step further on imigration and end it for anyone, no matter what color they are. I like the welfare one too, and totally agree with the foreigners not being able to buy American land, andalso agree on the guns issues. I'm not thrilled about the keeping AIDS victims away from other people, but if that was done in 1983, we wouldn't have this AIDS mess today.
BTW, where are you getting this information on the Klan? Is it from a liberal source, or from a Klan unit itself? If you are a member of the NY Yankees, and you beat someone up, do you blame the entire NY Yankees? Then why blame the entire Klan if one nut member attacks a minority? It is not ordered from the top.

we can both be right here ... yes it was black people trying to start the naacp but were not sucessfull untill 2 men of Jewish decent (lawyers) donated an office to the cause and helped them finacially to get on their feet

Too many young Black men don't finish high school, can't read, get into crime, are in jail, on probation, and have lost their right to vote.
Too many young Black women are having to bear the burden of being the leader in the home and the wage earner. They ARE finishing high school at higher rates and going on to college.
I went back to college at 38. The majority of my classmates were adult Black women.
The leadership of the NAACP has become a political action commitee (PAC) that supports a party which heavily panders to it every four years. LOOK! its a presidential election year and there is another White Democrat sitting in Black churches on Sunday, there to lead them. For Easter though, he will be back in his Catholic church.
Martin Luther King was an independent. He felt the free choice of individuals was one of the greatest rights we have. That seems to have died with him and it waits for new leadership to bring it back to life.

By 2050, whites will still be a majority in the North Americas.
Whites still inhabit South Africa and also own 80% of the world's diamond mines in Africa. Saying whites never flood "dark" countries is incorrect.
By the what the **** is a "dark" country? Is that land inhabited by blacks? When I took geography in middle school they never mentioned this terminology before.
