Is the saturn Ion turbocharged?

I think thats what it was, I seen intercooler in my rearview, he got up next to me at light and we launched, he thought he had a shot for about 10 feet and i just left him way behind.

Car is running pretty strong...so far so good

I raced a Cobalt SS at Beach Bend last fall. Beat him by several cars, I was collecting my time slip when I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him just pulling off the track. haha, Ouch!, but it did really good for a stock 4 cyl. I like those cars and would like to have one for a daily driver. The new Turbo Cobalt SS (solstice motor/same Ecotec motor) is really cool. I think Saturn dropped the ION, I don't see it on their website. Too bad if it was canceled, it was a nice alternative to the Cobalt, kinda like camaro to T/A, Solstice/Sky.

Ion is not on the Saturn website any longer. 2008 Cobalt... Turbo charged.

yep the new ones are turboed, the same engine that is in the Sky redline and the Soltice GXP. The previous ones were supercharged.
