I have a 1987 GN and my brake light on the dash comes on the odd time when I brake. I ordered another accumulator and wondered if there is a torque spec for the install or do I just snug it up. Do I need to apply liquid teflon thread sealant? And yes, I know about applying the brakes 10 times with the engine off before I remove the accumulator.

The O-ring does all the sealing. Make sure its clean, the bore its going into is clean and put some brake fluid on the ring to prevent tearing when you put it in. All that to say that the torque does not matter. The torque is only to prevent the thing from backing itself out, nothing more. I tighten it snug and a half.:D
