Is there any step by step picture type instructions on how to take out the analog dash? The 5-85 one not the digital dash? Was just curious in case I ever have to replace mine with a temporary one if mine ever maxes out on the rpm and turbo boost lights. I have pulled it out half way before but could never get it out? Does the speedometer cable have to be unscrewed from under the power master to fully pull it out to get to the clip? And how hard is it to change the bulbs out and uninstall the boost and rpm board? Thanks. I thought there was a how to thread on this but can't seem to find it? Thanks again.

you just gotta work it out.. it's not that hard. it will fight you and fight you, then right when you are ready to push the car out in the street and light it on fire it will pop out far enough to get the speedo cable unhooked..

as far as pictures, no, but i did take mine out...its pretty straight forward..i used 2 different sized nutdrivers to take most of it apart..that part is easy..if you lower the steering column, 2 bolts, it gives u much more clearance to release the cable. as long as your hands arent ginormous you can reach behind and pop clip holding speedo in...mine was a bear..and just remember how u did it, bcuz i waited a couple weeks to put mine back together and have a couple extra screws, the speedo isnt quite straight and the gas gauge doesnt work now...ive been told that can happen if you tighten the screws holding the bottom panel in too tight:) so much for fixing something that was working just fine!!!

Sounds like a pita!!! Maybe just leave it to the mechanic when mine ever needs recalibrated from caspers?
