Yes, that is an adjustable WG rod.
The longer the rod, the lower the boost and visa versa.

thanx jerryl so now how do i adjust it to make it longer or shorter? is it that nut at the end by the puck or wat ?

You have to remove the c clip which holds the waste gate arm onto the waste gate. Then unscrew the long screw shaft and reset the nut. I can tell that you are set for minimum boost. I personally wouldn't touch it until I had an after market boost and knock gauge installed. The stock boost gauge is worthless. This mistake cost me a new motor last year. Good luck- Brad

thanx brad so where is this c clip? i have no idea. the length of this wastegate arm is actually set shorter than the stock one i removed i havent adjusted it just compared them side to side and the adjustable one was shorter than the original stock one i had before on there and i do have a aftermarket boost gauge only difference i think i see is the boost does climb faster to 10 than the original one but my boost still dies out at like 11 and nothing happens after that hesitates a little like before and now

The C clip keeps the end of the adj. waste gate rod from popping off the stub of the waste gate. You might be missing it. Remember, the shorter the rod the more boost you get. Brad

ok so do u have a picture of this c clip thing becuz i dont know if i have it or not and i would like to know where it is located on the adjustable wastegate u see in my pic at the end where it hooks up to the puck? well theres a ntu there and then that silver rod after it about 1 1/2 in long on the end of that theres like a screw that goes right through the middle of it and comes out the other end too and it uses and L wrench to screw in might that be it?

On the left of your posted picture, there is supposed to be a clip that goes over that little shaft that the wastegate rod slides over. Its job is to hold the wastegate rod on the shaft. The clip looks just like the ones that hold your throttle cable and cruise cables on the throttlebody. Not sure on the exact size, but you can get them in the HELP! section of your local auto parts.

i figured it out how to adjust it it just happen to be that screw on the rod that was stuck tight sprayed some bolt loosener and got it to screw out and adjusted it and locked it in place and thanx for all the help n tips
