First of all, I've had no problems with my brakes.

I was letting my car warm up in the garage when I thought about my old 86 N/A Regal. I used to be able to hear a pump working when I'd pump the brakes a lot. So I pumped my brakes a few times--- about 10 and all of a sudden my brake light came on. It quickly went out when I stopped, but I didn't like it doing that. Does this sound common?

Thanks,

James

You really shouldn't pump the PM brakes with key on..your basically de-pressurizing the system too fast and the pump/motor can't keep up...so the light comes on because pressure is too low...goes off when pressure is stabilized...
