Is this "Normal" w/ ALKY??

Alright, So I'm trying to adjust the turn on point for my SMC kit, and when I slowy get going to watch the boost gauge go up slowly, when the alcohol come on, the Turbo starts to flutter. It only does it when I get the boost to come on slow, It's great at WOT. I'm using Denatured and the 5 sec spray of WD-40. This PT51 likes to flutter anyways and I'm thinking about a BOV. Anybody have this problem w/ alky? It flutters at the turn on, everywhere I've tried it between 10PSI and 15PSI. Any Ideas? The pump speed is in the middle. Aside from this minor problem, SMC Alky is Awesome!!

I take it by "flutter", you mean boost fluctuation? That is normal cause the alky lowers the exhaust temp. and will cause a slight bit of creep or bump. At WOT the gases are building a lot faster with rpms so it hardly affects it. Mine cuts on at 15 psi, and I really don't notice it. I don't do "slow" boost, if you know what I mean . Its either pedal to the metal or slow crusin'.

Thanks HossV6, yea, I usually only "cruise" around, but the last tank of fuel went pretty quick, w/ all the fun that the Alky is! 12MPG rather than the usual 18. It was mostly "to the floor"

It's also typical with a front mount and some turbos..if that's the case, it should do it with, or without, the alky
