Is this rebuildable?

I've got a TA-49 that needs a rebuild and just want to make sure it's able to be fixed. There is only side to side play and it scrapes the walls. Thanks.

Yep, It can easily be rebuilt. Sounds like a bad thrust bearing.

Depends on who rebuilds it. It could be from $150-$450 rough estimate

You mean it has hit the compressor or turbine housing? If it did you may need a new shaft, new compressor wheel and compressor cover. It can be rebuilt but if the damage is enough you will have close to a new one in it.
