I think ive narrowed it down a bit...haha when driving normally, with either light or moderate acceleration, the car shifts and drives fine, no problems whatsoever. However, when getting on the throttle anymore than halfway from a stop (5 psi or more), the car bucks and hesitates. it feels like its slipping, but im not really sure....i think ive ruled out coilpack and module as ive changed out between three known good ones so far. My plug wires are about 2 years, 40k old....but they should be ok. I just put on a brand new LT1 MAF with a Translator so im pretty sure the MAF is ok as ive heard they last a good while. so that leads me to beleive transmission....it kind of feels like its trying to "find" the right gear. Its wierd though because if it was the trans, wouldnt it act up during normal driving?? How about the converter, what are some symptoms of a bad converter? any help is appreciated.

no, but i will do that tomorrow.....actually i took the car out tonight and did a couple WOT runs and trans shifted great, and only .9 deg of knock at 17 psi....so i guess its not a trans problem, ill look into the module and MAF again. ill also check my translator settings. btw, how long should plug wires last? ive had the MSD 8.5mm on my car for two years now and the have about 40k on them...is it time for new ones?
