Now that hurts. Just greed. Could have used them.....But how much more coud they flow. Than aluminum heads. And no intake.6,000 dollars?
Keep them. Even if I could afford them.No intake. Or am I wrong?

No Flow sheets and needs new valve springs ------IT's official (sp) this is the biggist crack head in WI...what a tool....

Wow

wow, i would sell one set of my stage heads with rocker arms and give free one oncenter block and crank and a free intake. 6000 bucks for heads? some one is dreaming, just my opinion,

Thats crazy money considering it still has shaft rockers,For that money it should be setup with Jesels.I have a hard time relying on 3 bolts holding all the pressure of them solid roller springs

OTTO. stage heads have 4 not 3 bolts holding the shaft to the head, the shafts are made out of hard and heavy tubing and they will handle 325 lbs on the seat and 800 lbs open most indy car engines and busch engines that i have seen used t&d thats why that i have 6 sets and spares laying around, i have one set of crane shaft rockers for stage heads and a set of kenny-bell they look like t&d except color, see you in bowling green ,

Well thanks for explaining. Unfortunately. I guess I thought. How much more pressure could these take. Have to go on E -Bay to check it out.

I Would never use that much support. I plan on using steel Champions for now. And then see where I am . So greatful to get this motor.
Was wrking with buddy on cam. Sorry I jumped at you. Only shows my ignorance. And lack of knowledge on price.

Still 6,000 for heads, not me. Have a good day

heads

neil, not to argue but all indy engines didnt have square ports. the heads that i got from brayton only one set had square ports, the other four sets had regular ports, i still have one pair of them that has 42 cc, along with three other pairs and a lot of other junk, oc,

I saw those earlier today. The guy is on crack. Either that or Ron Tarabori just became a millionare. ;) I would tell you he'd be lucky to get $1500 for them with the rockers. BTW, they're not Indy heads either. They are standard Stage II heads, the Indy heads had square intake ports.

Thanks Neal, you beat me to it!

NOT INDY HEADS.

BTW: you can get a better set of brand new heads from Duttweiler for around this price if not cheaper!

O.C.,

I know you're right. Not all Indy heads were square port heads. The square port version didn't come around until the end of the program from what I can gather. What I was getting at is that when people refer to "Indy" stage II heads they typically mean the late style square port version. BTW, congrats it sounds like you're a millionare too. ;)

Neil. millionaire huh, only in my dreams lol, in the past i bought complete engines for a lot less than his asking price for heads, but some one may pay his price who knows,
