. q16 1st round of eliminations on fri turbo cars looking for dads 8.09 on the brakes against dave poppe that was a 1.15 60ft thats the cars best and would like to have a vid of it . also still need a vid of mine if anybody has one. thanks Bret Rudbeck peace

I just have to say one thing. All of the competitors in that TSM class are first class. Everyone is helpful and nice. No backbiting or poor sports. I think everyone had a great time. I know I sure did. Both the semi and the final rounds were close. I think it is a good thing for me and Dave B. that old Roy grabbed second a little too quick. He had us both covered by a good tenth. Luck is part of racing I guess.

The final race went like this, even though Dave treed me a little bit off of the start I got out on him by about a car. Then Dave's car started reeling me in, now only a 1/2 car lead at half-track, he was creeping up on me. At the end it looked like we crossed the finish line at the same time. We both looked at each other with our hands in the air. Neither of us knew who won until we got our slips at the E.T. shack.

Dave was the greatest. He was very happy and both of us celebrated together. It was so cool.
