Hi,
J G Transmissions Inc.
616 Davisville Rd, Willow Grove, PA

Has anyone dealt with these guys lately? Good/Bad? I had a trans done about 14 years ago by them. Seemed to run fine back then. Trans sat for 12years in the garage. I've been running for the past 2yrs. now it's starting to flare a bit 2-3. Should I go back to them? (They are local for me).

Thanks, Mike

Janis, Extreme automatics, Century Trans, PTE, Brian Hofer all are good choices.

I had mine built there, but havent put that many miles on it to give you an honest answer. I had a 2-3 flair problem, but just found out that the TV cable was streched. If I had to do it again I would take it to someone on this board for service or rebuilt. On another note my buddy had his 4l60e rebuilt twice from JG, and NOW runs a th400. .02

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks, for the replies. I am going to look into Extreme Automatics And see what kind of deal I can get on a stage 1.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,
Just my 02 cents but if you want a great trans to hold up to low 11's to low 10's, Janis is where i would atleast check first before trying anyone else. I have had alot of trans over time, and i can't be more happier with my Vince Janis trans. Just check them out and see for yourself. Ask for Vince

I Had Jim Do About Three Of My Transmissions In The Past And Gear Ratio Changes,i've Never Had A Problem They All Worked Great ,but He Was Very Expensive. When It Was Time For My Tta I Used Ck In N.y. Gave Them A Core And He Shiped Me A Stage 2,it Held Up To Some Hard Abuse Then Sold It.
