Lat night on the highway my left front tire exploded, damaged my Weld drag lite wheel, I'm a bit pissed about that.

To make a long story short I had to use the factory jack to get the car up, to my surprise the spare still had air in it but the tire iron did not fit the lug nuts I have on the weld wheels, LOL, but with the help of a friend I was soon on my way.

Now I can't seem to get the jack back in properly. any one have a pic please?

Thank You!

Here is how it is mounted in my regal.

Awesome thank You! Boy was off but it's late and getting dark. Thanks again!!!!:)

Your left front tire exploded?! Details?

I used my jack once - could not get it to mount right again. Replaced it with a AAA card for weight savings.

I had just left a friend's place and was getting on the highway doing about 75, I was beside a tour bus that was passing me on the left, it's a 4 lane highway, just as the bus was about half way past, the car just pulled to the left hard, if I hadn't lifted I think I might have hit the side of the bus. There is no damage to the tread area of the tire, it's still like new, looks like part of the side wall let go but I did have to drive on it to get off the highway, I wasn't about to get run over. Luckily I was close to an off ramp. I was thinking about ditching the jack too unless I go long distances which is rare with the car.

The jack in these g bodies is actually a pretty good design and much more useful than most factory jacks. I used mine on power tour to raise the car to troubleshoot a power steering issue.

I have the trunk liner kit, the 7 pieces I think, looks like it might be time to put it in.
