Jason Cramers crank specs ?

I was reading his build up and on the crank it says .01 mains .02 rods. Is that saying its been cut
.01 and .02 or that the specs on the clearance on lthe bearings. I only ask because i want to run
tsm in a couple years and my crank has been cut .01 on rods and mains and im wondering if
i should use it at that level sub 11's . thanks Rich

Rich,

The twenty thousandths CUT on the rods is no problem. If I recall correctly, I was told you can cut 30-thousandths on the rod bearing journals and still be safe. You just have to get correctly sized bearings. Your crank is AOK for 600+HP as long as you do not requently detonate the motor.
