If you can burn your own chips at the track, doesn't that kinda make it an old DFI system?? Technically its a chip, but when you can tune your chip at the track (with a lap top) what's the differece???? Not trying to take anything away from Red and others, but it gives guys who get their chips through the mail the wrong impression. I would kill to have the knowledge of tuning like these guys do, unfortunately, like most i don't have the time or resources.
