JCarter VT chip????

Do you need to have the wastegate on the passenger valve cover hooked up to use this properly. I am using racegate on the crossover, or does the computer also read at the manifold or something? I understand that the chip pulls timing as the boost goes up, but how does it know what the boost is, that is my question. Thanks

You need to be using the Turbolink boost sensing harness and a 3 bar MAP sensor. That's how the boost data is fed back into the ECM.

So if i don't have that the chip won't work correctly?????

Correct. Using one of those chips without the appropriate hardware would make some very bad things happen.
