JE piston ring clearences

I bought a stage block that was asembled and decided to check it out befor I ran it. The question I have is what is the side clearence for the bottom oil ring,and has any one ever had three oil rings on the piston to make up the large gap on the oil ring.

All the Stg pistons I have worked with had the wrist pin going into the oil ring grove on the piston, if this is your case you need the rail ring installed on the piston before installing your oil rings, this maybe be why your finding a excess clearance problem.
