Hi all,

My name is Darcy, and I am a jeep guy from Alberta, Canada. I have a 1948 Willys CJ2A that had a Buick 3.8 in it, and I am planning to swap in a naturally aspirated 4.6 V6. I've also managed to find a crated 4.1 for myself.

A moderator over here named Charlie mentioned this site to me, but when I tried to list him as a referrer, his username didn't work (must be different over here ).

Looking forward to getting some good info about this engine.

Thanks,
Darcy

PS. I'd like to change my username to the one that the spam control prevented me from using....if one of the admins could do this, that would be great.

Welcome aboard Darcy. I'm here and will help you get the Jeep crawling as slow as it's possible. Please check out the before black section for better info on how to make it work for you.

Welcome to TurboBuick.com, the biggest & the best of all of the turbo Buick forums / sites anywhere.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.....good to see you here Charlie! I've already checked out the porting of the 4.1 intake, and I have plans to pick up the crated engine block as well.

Hopefully on Friday night, I drive up to get the 4.1 V6 engine, and drive it back here for a quick removal.

I'll start a build thread in the Hybrid section.

The hybred guys mostly post about SFI so it will be a shock to them. If you don't get a warm welcome post it in the B4Black section. I'm sure you'll get a warm welcome there since it's what that section is all about.

Are you able to move it to the B4Black section then? I was going to, but then I thought it would probably get moved to the Hybrid section. lol

I may be able to get Shane to move it but let's see how it goes for now. The hybred guys have been looking at it so maybe they'll be happy to help you with it. You never know though.
